Every order brings the same tedious work: reading in customer data in unfamiliar formats, assigning components, keeping track of changes, preparing data for every machine, inspecting first articles. EFA SmartSuite takes it over – in one application, with a single data set from quotation to inspected assembly.
The entire PCB at up to 5,000 dpi – with the desktop unit at the workstation or the inline unit directly in the line, for inspection before soldering (pre-reflow AOI). EFA Capture and EFA Stitch create the image, EFA SmartSuite inspects it.

With EFA, we achieve SMT line releases much faster.
In addition to the enormous time savings, we have also standardised our production documents. As a side effect, the workflows are of course standardised too. This has a direct impact on the subsequent production steps in our plant.
This type of inspection (augmented reality inspection) reduces the downtime of our production lines!
The EFA inline solution won us over with its automatic image capture. This lets us inspect batch sizes from 0 to 1,000 with EFA Inspection without any problems.
Overall, the processes concerned have improved through significant time savings. In addition, the system reliably detects placement errors and thus contributes to overall process optimisation.
We were also able to train people who do not normally carry out optical inspections. This means every shift can easily monitor its own process steps.
